Career and Technical Education (CTE)

Welcome!

CAHELP is proud to offer support that help schools and districts provide effective transition services to promote successful post-school employment and/or training and education to ensure that students with disabilities live a life of significance.

The Career Technical Education (CTE) Team supports staff, students, and families through services that help to ensure the successful transition of students with disabilities in achieving their post-school and career goals. Transition services are required under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended by Title IV of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

Our goals are accomplished by working in partnership with the Department of Rehabilitation, California Department of Education, school districts, and community businesses. Take a look below to find more information about our supports and services.
